The soup was full of flavor and very rich and apparently the same version served in the high end restaurant on the property called 1909. Apparently, this is a recipe in the Dupont family cookbook dating back from many decades ago and is available on the Longwood Garden's web site if you decide you'd like to recreate this soup at home.
